Trusting the Universe More Than My Fear
Nov 14, 2025For years, fear drove every choice. Fear of failing, being judged, losing what I built, stepping into what I couldn’t control. I called it being careful and practical. Underneath, I didn’t trust myself or the Universe. I trusted fear.
Fear is loud. It squeezes your chest and tells you to shrink, wait, play it safe. I wore that like a badge of responsibility, but I was hiding.
Change came in small pieces. A quiet nudge that something in my life was off. A heaviness every time I ignored my gut. Clear signs I kept brushing aside because they didn’t fit the plan. The Universe speaks like that. First soft, then louder, then undeniable. My turning point was simple. Fear wasn’t protecting me. It was trapping me. Choices made from fear left me smaller and more cut off from myself. Choices made from trust left me clearer and braver and more true to who I am.
So I made a different kind of choice. I stopped asking fear for permission. I paid attention to the pull toward a different life. I kept saying yes to the signs that returned again and again. I stopped forcing what felt heavy and started honoring what felt honest. I chose to trust the Universe more than my fear.
Trust didn’t make life easy. It made it real. It asked me to drop old stories and identities that had run their course. It asked me to live what was true instead of what was safe. To show up whole, not polished.
Fear will always try to talk you off your path. It treats uncertainty like danger. But uncertainty is where the soul speaks. Where direction lands. Where the next version of you takes shape.
Trusting the Universe changed everything. Right doors opened. Wrong ones closed.
The right people showed up. What no longer fit fell away. I learned that guidance is steady. You just have to get quiet enough to hear it.
