Exclusive Interview with Becky Shapiro, author in the No BS Biz Book Vol. 1!

Please tell us, who are you and what work do you do?

My name is Becky Shapiro, and my company is Heart and Soul.

I am a compass for those needing direction, looking for guidance on how to connect with their heart and soul.

As a Mind-Body-Spirit Coach, I empower you to let go of what’s no longer serving you to allow space for what will.

I assist those in search of well-being and balance while trying to connect and expand on their soul-aligned path.

My guidance consists of 1:1 Coaching and/or Intuitive Healing sessions, channeling sessions, online memberships (Joy Compass and Spiritual Compass), and online courses and classes.

I am a published author and co-author, currently writing multiple books that document my spiritual journey and inner child healing process.  

I draw on my expertise as a teacher, yoga instructor, meditation instructor, reflexologist, energy healing practitioner, EFT practitioner, medium and Channel for Spirit to guide my clients and offerings.

What advice do you have for those on their entrepreneurial journey?

For those on the path of entrepreneurialism, the road can be lonely and rocky, IF you let it.

Making time for connecting with yourself and others on a similar journey is important for your mental health.

Setting your own schedule means you can work around the clock, OR you can build in space for breaks and your self care.

Carving time for what lights you up within your business and without will fuel your creativity and bring positive energy to your projects.

You are not here to simply survive. 

You are meant to thrive! 

What can you do differently, especially in your business, to live like it?

What's the BIGGEST BS you've witnessed in your industry as an entrepreneur?

The biggest, stinking BS I’ve witnessed in the industry is coaches and programs bullying you into believing their way is the best way; their way is THE way.

There is no one right way in any industry.

Imagine being able to run a soul-aligned business on your own terms, with ease while feeling in flow. 

It’s possible! But, you need to find YOUR way. It may take some time to figure out what resonates, but the exploration and the patience will be well worth it.

Congratulations on being a featured author in NO BS BIZ BOOK Vol. 1! What's been your favorite part of being in this project?

Thank you! I love the fact that I am a piece of the No BS Biz Book puzzle. 

All of the contributors are parts of the whole.

As a collective, we are able to offer more to the readers, a bigger picture, to guide them on their path.

How do you feel this book will help readers?

Everyone’s business journey is going to look, sound and feel different. 

Hearing the many co-authors’ unique stories and advice provides readers more information to take in. It allows them to learn from others’ experiences and process the nuggets of information that resonate. So many lightbulb moments!

It also helps the reader understand we’re not alone on our soul-aligned path, even when it feels like it.

Was there a part of your story that was difficult to share?

I guess the toughest part about sharing my story was the realization I had while writing it.  

I stayed in a thankless job for so many years, believing it’s what I needed to do to survive and pay the bills.

It took me so long to become unstuck in life.

I wish I would have put myself and my happiness first a lot sooner!

WHAT is the #1 NO BS BIZ TIP you want every entrepreneur to know?

All roads lead back to you, baby! 

If you want to be successful in business, you have to start with yourself. 

Are you taking care of yourself? Are you making time for self connection?

If you aren’t familiar with your wants, needs and desires, it’s going to show up everywhere, including the energetic signature of your business.
