Tell us about your business! What do you sell?

I write paranormal romance novels for the spiritually curious (or conscious) woman. Unlike other authors in the genre, I give multiple points of views to the reader so they can craft a mini movie in their head. As a former spiritual teacher, I invite my readers not only to be entertained but open themselves to the possibilities of their own intuitive gifts.
Mystical Love is the first published book in the series of steamy and magical adventures between a practical therapist and a rockstar that discover unworldly gifts the more they connect physically. There are unexpected twists and turns that keep you wanting more. You won’t be able to put it down.

What inspired you to get started as an entrepreneur?

I enjoy doing my own thing and going against status quo. It might sound a little rebellious, but being an entrepreneur sings to my creative nature. As I navigate the corporate world and entrepreneurship as an author, I am finding my unique style of leadership. It’s not all about leaders and followers, it’s about a community of people who want to make the world a better place through their businesses. And that is my favorite part.

Why do you think it’s important for holiday shoppers to buy from Small Businesses this year?

I fully support small businesses, light workers, change makers and indie authors because it helps people make a living doing what they were born to do. When we support small business, we are supporting our own communities of people who care. This year, more than ever, people are feeling the need to connect with others. I believe buying from small business during the holidays helps humanity relate to one another. For example, I buy soap from my neighborhood goat farmer. I know her, what goes into her products, and care that she puts into crafting everything she touches. It makes me feel good to support someone I know and the soaps are amazing! #sharethelove
