I'm Dr. Stephanie Reissner, and I run a business dedicated to empowering families of children with disabilities through advocacy and education. I offer a range of services, from self-paced courses like the Confident Advocate Academy, to one-on-one mentorship, IEP meeting support, and helpful digital resources like templates and guides—all designed to make advocating for your child more approachable and effective.
What inspired you to get started as an entrepreneur?
I started my business because I saw firsthand how overwhelming the special education system can be for families, even with good intentions on all sides. My years of experience in education made me realize that many parents simply need guidance to navigate the complexities of their child's IEP and to ensure their kids receive the services they deserve. I wanted to be the advocate that I wish many families had from the start.
